Info Libro La saga del Krugan si sviluppa in tre libri: Krugan – Il guerriero, il mago e il cacciatore Krugan – Il segreto della magia Krugan – L'origine delle razze È un'opera dall'intreccio complesso ma dalla lettura semplice e scorrevole, la cui storia unisce il classico all'originale, l'antico al moderno, ed è resa reale e vivida dai dialoghi diretti e spontanei, dalle descrizioni dei luoghi e delle tradizioni, in cui sono immerse le vicende. L'autore cerca di dare una spiegazione, una impostazione razionale ad ogni aspetto di un mondo comunque di natura fantastica, e quindi immaginario, per renderlo il più reale possibile. In particolare nel secondo libro studia e analizza la magia con occhio tecnico, quasi scientifico, mentre nel terzo fornisce una versione del tutto nuova e originale sull'origine delle razze (del fantasy), che sconvolge la classica visione mitologica anche all'interno dello stesso racconto. Non si sofferma troppo sulla descrizione dei personaggi, lasciandola all'immaginazione del lettore, concentrandosi più sulla storia, sui luoghi, sulle circostanze, sui popoli e le loro tradizioni, e su dinamiche sulle quali si basa anche la nostra società, e che spesso si rivelano deboli e contraddittorie. Invita a rimettere in discussione le cose che per consuetudine si danno per scontate: non sempre le cose sono come sembrano o come ci hanno detto che siano. La psicologia dei personaggi viene colta indirettamente, attraverso le vicende e gli eventi che accadono, anche se l'autore punta ad analizzare il chiaro-scuro dell'animo umano, più del'uomo in generale che quelli di un personaggio in particolare. Mette in risalto i forti sentimenti che l'uomo nasconde dentro di sè, veri motori del suo destino. Il tipo di eroe che viene presentato non è nè l'eroe classico, senza macchia, insuperabile, sempre vincente, nè un antieroe come Frodo de Il Signore degli anelli, bensì una via di mezzo: un uomo in possesso di un potere che non è propriamente suo, del quale non sa come utilizzarlo, assalito da dubbi e insicurezze, pende pericolosamente tra il mal e il bene in una lotta che avviene dentro di sè. Krugän is a work with a complex plot, but with also a simple and fluent reading, whose story combines the classic with the original, the ancient with the modern, and is made real and vivid by the spontaneous and direct dialogue, by the descriptions of places and traditions, in which the events are immersed.
The author tries to give an explanation, a rational approach to every aspect of a world still fantasy in nature, and therefore imaginary, to make it as realistic as possible. In particular, in the second book, he studies and analyzes the magic with technical eye , almost scientific, while in the third provides a completely new and original version about the origin of races (fantasy), which upsets the classical mythological view even within the story itself.
He does not dwell too much on description of the characters, letting it to the imagination of the reader, and focusing more on the history, places, circumstances, on the peoples and their traditions, and on dynamics at the base of every society, which often prove to be weak and contradictory . Invite to challenge what is customarily taken for granted: things are not always as they seem or as they have said us that are.
The psychology of the characters is captured indirectly through the stories and events that happen; the author aims to analyze the light and shade of the human soul of man in general more than those of a particular character. Highlights the strong feelings that the man hides inside himself, the true driving forces of his destiny.
The kind of hero that is presented is neither the classic hero, without spot, unbeatable, always winning, nor the anti-hero "everyman": is a man in possession of a power that is not really his, that he doesn't know how to use, a man who, assailed by doubts and insecurities, hangs dangerously between good and evil in a struggle that happens inwardly.
In a world in which nature dominate both in strength and in beauty, human nature is however exalted in his wonderful uniqueness.
